Foundation Requirements
Install the cold storage on a solid, level surface.
For prefabricated cold storage, a level concrete base is required. If the base is uneven or sloped, it must be leveled.
Location Selection
Install in a well-ventilated, low-humidity area.
Avoid direct sunlight and rain exposure.
Keep away from heat-generating appliances.
Outdoor Installation (Prefabricated Cold Storage)
Designed for indoor use; if installed outdoors, a protective canopy must be added to shield against sunlight and rain.
Drainage System
Cold air leakage
Insect or rodent intrusion
Drainage pipes must direct water to a free-flowing outlet (water discharge is frequent).
A U-trap (U-shaped pipe) must be installed to prevent:
Without a U-trap, condensation may corrode the refrigeration unit.
Temperature Considerations
Avoid hot environments—high temperatures reduce cooling efficiency and may damage panels.
The unit’s ambient operating temperature must not exceed 45°C (113°F).
Ensure sufficient space for unit maintenance.
Panel Assembly
Apply foam tape completely along the convex edges of panels before assembly.
Handle panels carefully to avoid collisions during installation.
After assembly, inspect all seams and seal them with silicone (inside and outside).
Structural Reinforcement
Partition walls must be secured with angle brackets.
Hook Fastening
Tighten hooks gradually and evenly to align panels—excessive force may dislodge hooks.
Post-Installation Checks
Refer to the "Cold Storage Assembly Diagram" (panel types vary).
Seal all pipe/electrical penetrations with silicone after installation.
